WHAT:
This retreat is designed to help individuals take that next step
forward, deeper into their yoga practice. It’s not just enough to show
up and do asana. You must be willing to take your practice into your
own hands.
On this
retreat you will learn:
- why ancient yoga was taught hands on from teacher to student
- how to respond to physical adjustments
- to better understand your mind and body
- to apply yamas & niyamas of Patanjali’s Sutras to your yoga on and off the mat
- to understand, accept and appreciate your unique self in both mind and body
We will
practice:
- varies forms of yoga (vinyasa, iyengar, ashtanga, restorative and contact)
- being mindful and staying present while receiving adjustments
- identifying and breaking through self imposed walls
